The level of registered unemployment in the country is 5.4%, reports the Employment Agency (EA). At the end of July, a total of 152,844 people were registered as unemployed at the labor offices. However, 14,542 have started work, as well as 339 pensioners, students and employed people.

As a result of the work of the Roma and youth mediators, as well as the labor mediators in the labor offices, more than 5,150 inactive people on the labor market were activated during the month, which is 18% more compared to the previous month, AZ reports.

The number of vacancies on the primary market announced in the labor offices is increasing, which in July was 8,805. In the real economy, the most jobs are in the manufacturing industry (24%), education (18.8%), state administration (11.5%), trade (10.6%), administrative and auxiliary activities (7.8%), followed by hospitality and catering (5.2%).

The representatives of the risk groups who found their employment last month through subsidized jobs are 4,669. Of them, 3,817 started work under employment programs and measures financed by the state budget, and 852 – under projects of the Human Resources Development Program ” 2021 – 2027, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus. In July, over 12,500 training vouchers were issued for the employed and unemployed.

Registered unemployment in the country in June was 5.3%, which is 0.1 percentage points lower than in May.

At the end of June, there were 150,990 unemployed people registered in the labor offices. Their number decreased by 3,281 people compared to the previous month.

The occupations most in demand by businesses in July are teaching staff, human care staff, mining and manufacturing workers, construction and transport workers, salespersons, machine operators of stationary machinery and equipment, waste collection and related workers, staff , employed in the field of personal services, drivers of motor vehicles and mobile equipment, cleaners and helpers, skilled workers in the production of food, clothing, wood products and related, etc.
