A huge menorah placed in a central area of the Ukrainian city of Dnipro was vandalized by five rioters – apparently against an antisemitic background.
Today (Tuesday), at the end of a quick activity led by a rabbi of the city, Chabad emissary Rabbi Shmuel Kamintsky, all five rioters were arrested and taken into custody.
Tonight, hundreds of residents of the city are expected to participate in the lighting of the third candle – in the corrupted menorah.
