50 Cent believes Kanye West’s foray into politics was a mistake, urging others to steer clear of such endeavors. Discussing the matter on The Breakfast Club, 50 revealed he turned down a $3 million offer to perform at President Donald Trump’s rally.
“I didn’t even go far… I didn’t talk to them about that kinda stuff. I’m afraid about politics,” he explained. “I do not like no part about them.”
Using Kanye as an example, 50 Cent suggested that political involvement inevitably leads to controversy and division. “It’s because when you do get involved in it, no matter how you feel, someone passionately disagrees with you. That’s the formula for the confusion that sent Kanye to Japan,” he stated.
50 Cent alluded to Kanye’s controversial statements, which have reportedly hampered his ability to tour in the United States and Europe. “He said something about both of those things — and now he can only go to Japan.”
