This alarming figure was revealed during the “DialogoX Ciudadanos” event held at the World Trade Center.

Gálvez pointed out that in the past, popular insurance allowed people to receive medical care and covered the costs of private hospitals enrolled in the insurance. However, with the disappearance of this system, access to medical care has become increasingly difficult for a large part of the population.

In addition to the worrying health situation, Gálvez expressed his deep concern about the current state of security in Mexico, describing the country as “bloodied” and marked by the fear its citizens experience. He emphasized the problems faced by the Mexican countryside, where the pressure of organized crime prevents farmers from collecting their products, generating a devastating impact on the economy and the lives of citizens.

During the event, the importance of citizen participation was highlighted and the supporters who joined in marches and demonstrations to defend key institutions such as the National Electoral Institute (INE) were thanked. Xóchitl Gálvez received signs of support from different locations in the country, as well as from the Mexican migrant community in Chicago and Los Angeles, who also expressed their support.

In response to these concerns and the support received, UNID@S committed to working tirelessly to encourage citizen participation and promote Xóchitl Gálvez as an option for a safer and more prosperous Mexico in the next presidential race. Cities like Puebla, Xalapa, Guadalajara and Mérida join this call in favor of the leader and her vision for the country. Attention to health and safety will be crucial issues in this fight for a better future for all Mexicans.
