A night that will make history, Vassilis Papakonstantinou promises, will be that of September 9 in Ioannina, where he will appear at the outdoor theater of EHM to celebrate with a big concert his 50 years in Greek discography.

A journey through time guided by the lyrical, dynamic, deeply emotional voice of Vassilis and accompanied by the greatest composers, poets and lyricists that this place gave birth to: Miki Theodorakis, Manos Loizos, Thanos Mikroutsikos, Tasos Livaditis, Costas Karyotakis, Nikos Kavvadias, Nikolas Asimos, Stamatis Mesimeris, Costas Tripoliti, Yannis Negrepontis, Alkis Alkaios, Odysseas Ioannou, George Kleftoiorgos, Apostolos Boulasikis, Lina Dimopoulou and so many others. On Saturday, September 9, Vassilis will sing to us everything that we love, that moves us and unites us. We will all become one – young and old – under the magical voice of Vassilis, which only he has been able to achieve with his authentic presence for 50 years now,” states a press release for the concert.
Companions on his musical journey are his permanent collaborators, with Andreas Apostolou on orchestrations and piano, Vangelis Paterakis on electric bass, Stefanos Dimitriou on drums, Mary Brozis on violin, Yiannis Augeris on electric guitar, Apostolos Mosios on acoustic guitar and George Theodoropoulos on keyboards.
Doors open at 7.30pm and the concert starts at 9pm. Until August 13, it is possible to buy tickets online at the price of 12 euros. The presale will continue until September 9 at 15 euros, while tickets at the box office on the day of the concert will be sold at the price of 18 euros.
