The Minister of Communication and Media, Laurence Ndong, who was the guest of the AGP program “Just’1 debate”, took stock of the processing of the files, almost five months after the award of the 500 budget positions by the President of the Transition, Brigadier General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema.
Faced with questions from many communicators, the Minister of Communication and Media reassured about the progress of processing the files.
« The President of the Republic has decided to make 500 budget positions available. These positions were given priority to agents who were awaiting integration. And we have resolved that the remaining budget positions will be subject to recruitment because today there is a need for personnel ” did she say. Before specifying that “ More than 250 files were processed and sent to the civil service.”
The minister, very reassuring of the approach undertaken, returned to the working methodology when processing these files.
« How did we do it? We have asked all the heads of the subordinate entities to send us the lists of all the people awaiting integration. These lists were co-signed by staff representatives. We brought together a commission which met twice in a row to ensure that the names on the lists correspond to the files processed and are complete. This, after these working sessions in which ministry collaborators and staff representatives took part,” explained the Minister of Communication.
For the minister, this process took time, “ we did not want to rush, because we wanted to ensure that in this process which was put in place to resolve injustices, other injustices were not created. »
For the second part concerning recruitment, considering the strong demand, i.e. nearly 4,000 files from job seekers for just over 200 available positions, the teams of the said ministry are studying the files taking into account the needs of the entities under supervision.
Faced with poor living conditions, particularly salaries of agents in the Communication sector, the President of the Transition, Brigadier General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, decided in December 2024 to grant 500 budget positions to the Ministry of Communication and Media .
