New Delhi: Hurun India and Burgundy Pvt have jointly released the list of India’s Top 500 Most Valuable Private Companies.

It says: During the Corona disaster, Serum Company emerged as an important company. At that time, the same company had developed the Corona vaccine.

Subsequently, the unlisted serum company became a prestigious company. Its value rose by 20 per cent to Rs 2.2 lakh crore in a single year.

Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries topped the list with assets of Rs 17.3 lakh crore. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was ranked 2nd with assets of Rs 11.7 lakh crore and HDFC Bank 3rd with assets of Rs 8.3 lakh crore.

Chennai-based EIT-Bari also featured in this list. Founded in 1788, the oldest listed company was valued at Rs 11,000 crore. Nitin Aggarwal and Subham Maheshwari’s Global Peace 2021 has made it to the list with a value of Rs 9,100 crore. CRET, a Rs 50,000 crore fintech start-up, has made it to the Hurun list as the most valuable new company.

In Burgundy Private, Hurun India 500 list, Maharashtra is at the top with 193 companies, Karnataka is at the 2nd position and Tamil Nadu is at the 3rd position with 43 companies.
