Muscat: The Royal Oman Police have arrested 52 people for trying to enter Oman illegally by sea. The incident took place in the governorate of North Al Batina. Coast Guard police said three boats were seized from various locations near the coast.
The boats were carrying 52 foreigners from Asian countries. It was found that they were trying to enter the country without the knowledge of the authorities. The Royal Oman Police said in a statement that legal action was being taken against those arrested.
