Kannur: A class 5 student who went missing in Kannur yesterday was found with his sixteen-year-old Instagram friend at a theater in the city. The girl sent a message from her mother’s phone to the class teacher on Monday evening stating that she will not attend class on Tuesday due to fever.
Immediately after getting the teacher’s reply, the message was deleted from the phone. As usual, on Tuesday morning, he boarded the school van from home and went to school. After leaving school, he went to the cinema with a sixteen-year-old who was waiting outside the school.
The boy from Thiruvananthapuram drowned from his house saying that he was going on an excursion with his friends. The 16-year-old reached Kannur by taking a KSRTC bus from Thiruvananthapuram with around 3,000 rupees, including the money given to him by his family many times and the money he received from his hand. He had sent a message to the girl on Instagram saying that he got money from selling the rabbit and that I would come to see him. The two, who are meeting each other for the first time, planned everything through Instagram.
A classmate saw the girl in front of the school and informed the teachers when she disappeared in the class. When the teachers spoke to the van driver, the van driver said that the child had boarded the van and got off at the school. The concerned teachers reported the information to the police and the child’s home. Both were found in the theater at Payyambalam during the investigation conducted by the police. Police immediately released the girl with her parents. Parents arrived from Thiruvananthapuram this morning and took the boy.
