The LigaPro is working on the issue of improving the fields and so far is trying to apply the regulations on this issue that were recently approved last December.

In this section there are different scales of sanctions, the first and second being economic, while the third already implies that the sporting scene is disqualified.

For this, the LigaPro Disciplinary Committee has ordered fines for clubs that fail to comply with recent regulations on the grass.

At the moment in these two days of the LigaPro Ecuabet there are six clubs fined and they are the following:

Delfín ($1500), D. Cuenca ($1000), Libertad ($500), Técnico U ($500), Macará ($500) and Mushuc Runa ($500).

The reasons are diverse, such as not cutting the grass according to the regulations, that the field does not have grass coverage or that the field does not have the proper markings.

LigaPro, together with its advisors on this issue, are working with the clubs and also demanding that they have first-class playing fields in the short and medium term.
