Due to the series of failures of Pan India films, the producers have suffered a loss of several crores of rupees. Due to this loss, ‘Janaganamana’, which was to be paired with Vijay Devarakonda and Puri Jagannath, has been stopped. Karan Johar, one of the producers of ‘Liger’, has also reportedly shelved a film starring Rashmika Mandana.

With the series of big budget films failing, will pan India films continue?

We asked producer SR Prabhu. “It’s not always possible to create works that appeal to all audiences. On a positive note, pan India is expanding the business reach of cinema. So you can create quality images.

Everything is about learning. First there were four or five films, and after the pan India success, more films followed. If some films fail, they are completely discarded, and if they are successful, they do not make pan-India films. Success and failure are everywhere and always. It’s a cycle,” he says.
