Colombo: Six students drowned after a boat capsized in Sri Lanka.
In our neighboring country of Sri Lanka, ferry services are available between Guinea and Kurinzkeni in the Trincomalee District. Yesterday, near this bridge, a boat carrying 20 passengers suddenly capsized and crashed. The boat then sank.

Upon receiving information about the accident, the Sri Lankan Navy rushed to the rescue. They recovered the bodies of six students who had drowned. Eleven people, including three other students who fought for their lives, have been rescued and admitted to hospital for treatment. It is feared that the death toll will rise as the condition of some of them is worrying. Police are investigating the cause of the boat accident.
