A. Bilotaitė: this is a message for such persons that they will be identified
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Agnė Bilotaitė, said that the news that six persons, who hid the fact of acquiring Russian citizenship, lost their Lithuanian citizenship, is the result of the active actions of the country’s services.
“There are certain algorithms that have been agreed upon, and our officers perform certain actions, and those actions allowed us to clarify these specific cases,” A. Bilotaitė told reporters in the Vilnius region on Wednesday.
“If there are such cases, apparently they will come to light. But we hope that this is a message to such persons that they will be identified and there will be appropriate consequences for this,” the minister added.
