After the death of a national from Ley Bilel in the Ziguinchor region on Monday, the family wanted to repatriate the body to its birthplace but was involved in a traffic accident which cost the lives of the 6 accompanying people, all from male gender.
According to El Mamadou Saidou Diallo, mayor of Kouramangui, sub-prefecture under the prefecture of Labé, the tragedy occurred in the jurisdiction of Koundara at the level of Kifaya.

According to the mayor, the Koundara gendarmerie arrived on the scene for the purpose of investigating and decided to transport the 6 other bodies to the urban center of Koundara for preparation and repatriation.
The Kouramangui municipal authority specifies that the 6 deceased men all came from Ziguinchor and were repatriating the body of one of their own.
A delegation also left Koggui to receive the new remains.
Note that the 7 deceased men are from Ley Bilel in Kouramangui.
