King Saud Medical City has warned against excessive caffeine intake, stressing that it may lead to many negative effects on public health.

It revealed the 6 most prominent symptoms of an overdose of caffeine: difficulty breathing, headache, chest pain, loss of muscle control, insomnia, nausea, rapid heartbeat, and hallucinations.

She explained that minor symptoms can be dealt with from an increase in the dose taken by drinking plenty of water, practicing some light activities, and eating food rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals.
