Care starts well before production: according to Débora, the skincare routine guarantees healthier skin and greater durability of the cosmetics applied, including makeup.
“Stick on soaps, moisturizers and sunscreens suitable for your face. The ideal is to consult with experts and strictly follow the recommendations for the most suitable products for your skin type”, explains Débora Latgé.
Take care when preparing your skin: according to the visagist, preparing the skin before makeup is one of the secrets to maintaining its appearance. “The first steps are to cleanse, tone and hydrate your face. When using sunscreen, choose a stick. In addition to being more practical, it also serves as a base.”

Débora recommends using a primer, hydration serum or facial mist. “The latter, in addition to being able to be applied before and after production, leaves the skin softer and hydrated, allowing the makeup to be absorbed more evenly.”
A tip for those with oily skin: use oil-free products. “Oil is one of the biggest obstacles to keeping your look intact”, points out Débora Latgé.

Mascara, pencil or eyeliner? Only waterproof: The eyes are one of the favorite parts when applying makeup, as the region offers countless production possibilities. On the other hand, it is the most difficult area to keep makeup intact.
“At Carnival, there is no other way out. Mascara, pencil, shadow or eyeliner need to be waterproof. Still, the ideal is to use quality products to ensure that the eyes do not smudge. It is worth remembering that the item must be waterproof. waterproof, not water resistant”, warns Débora.
Seal your makeup well: another secret is sealing, to adhere the makeup to the skin. “Use the translucent matte powder to seal the makeup, starting with the T-zone (forehead and nose), the part that tends to be more oily. Reinforce the glitter: according to image consultant Débora, glitter doesn’t stick to the skin as much, especially if it’s just glitter. The tip is to apply Vaseline next to the glitter. If you don’t have one, use primer or concealer, which also help with fixation.
Finish with facial mist: in spray form, the mist is a product that is part of the skincare routine, providing hydration and toning to the skin, as well as obtaining calming and anti-inflammatory effects.
