World Bank report that 60 lakh people are facing severe food shortage in Pakistan. The flood that happened in June last year had a severe impact on the people of Pakistan.
Lakhs of domestic animals died in the flood. 90 lakh acres of agricultural land has been destroyed. The destruction of agricultural crops was a major setback. There is severe food shortage now. The report also says that the international community should provide emergency assistance.
