According to this, the Tamil Nadu Health Department is conducting corona virus tests for passengers arriving from foreign countries at the international terminal arrival area of ​​Chennai Airport. This test is being done especially for passengers coming from countries like America, China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Singapore.

Among those passengers, passengers with symptoms of cough, cold and flu are selected. Accordingly, 2 percent of selected passengers will have RDPCR at Chennai airport. Testing is going on. The health department has informed that 600 passengers have been tested for new corona virus in the last 3 days alone. At the same time, other passengers can voluntarily undergo the test if they wish. Children under 12 are not tested for coronavirus. But if any of them have more cough, cold, etc., they will also be tested and the officials say that they can get the test results in the next half an hour and if they are found to be affected, they will be isolated immediately. In addition, the passengers may be quarantined in hospitals or their homes for treatment, Chennai airport officials said.
