Chennai: Chennai Metro Rail Administration has informed that 63 lakh people have traveled in Chennai Metro trains in the month of February alone.
Information released by the Metro Rail Corporation: The Chennai Metro Rail Corporation provides transportation facilities to the people of Chennai and the passengers of the Metro Rail. In that way, a total of 63,66,282 passengers have traveled in metro trains from 01.02.2023 to 28.02.2023. Maximum 2,61,668 passengers traveled in metro trains on 10.02.2023.
In February 2023 alone, 20,20,027 passengers traveled in metro trains using the QR Code ticketing system. 39,85,113 passengers have traveled using travel cards.
66 lakh people traveled in Chennai Metro trains in January alone. 63 lakh people traveled in February. Since February has 28 days, the number of passengers is less.
