The Ukrainian army attacked a temporary military base of Russian soldiers in the city of Megivka. Ukrainian forces fired six rockets from the Himarus missile system, two of which were shot down, according to a Defense Ministry statement.
But the Russian Defense Ministry also said 63 people were killed when Ukrainian forces fired rockets at an area where Russian troops were stationed in the eastern Donetsk region.

Russian soldiers killed
Earlier, the Strategic Communications Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that 400 Russian soldiers were killed and another 300 wounded in a school building in Megivka on Sunday. However, there is no mention of the vocational school in the Russian report.
Meanwhile, Russia deployed several explosive drones in another nighttime attack on Ukraine, officials said.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, ’40 drones headed towards Kiev overnight. According to Air Defense Forces, they were all destroyed. The attack resulted in damage to energy infrastructure and an explosion in a city district.
