The annual statistical report of the ministry, of which Al-Youm obtained a copy, stated that 653,795 beneficiaries visited mental health departments in its hospitals last year, of whom 569,400 were frequent patients, and 84,395 were new patients, while the number of inpatients reached 31,377, of whom 16,468 were hesitant patients, and 14 .909 new patients.
