7.3 magnitude earthquake struck the China-Tajikistan border

A strong earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale, according to the Chinese seismic agency CEIC, shook the city of Murghib in Tajikistana Central Asian country, located in the middle of Afghanistan, China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

He China Earthquake Network Center (CENC) reported that one of the areas affected by the strong telluric movement was the Xianjiang Autonomous Region, located near the border between the Asian giant and Tajikistan.
