Vaniyambadi police on Saturday arrested seven people, including a female liquor dealer, Maheshwari, who was hiding inside a house in Thiruvannamalai.

Maheshwari has been accused by his gang of selling counterfeit liquor for 25 years in Netaji Nagar, Vaniyambadi, Tirupati district. Later, Maheshwari arrested her husband Srinivasan, Devendran, Usha, Chinnarasu, Mohan and the woman who had given them a house to stay and brought them to Vaniyambadi for interrogation.
