Police believe Ivy Webster is among the dead.

Authorities in the United States reported the discovery of 7 bodies on a property in Henryetta, a small town in rural Oklahoma, during the search for two missing teenagers.

Police said they believe the girls they were looking for, Ivy Webster, 14, and Brittany Brewer, 16, are among those killed.

The body of Jesse McFadden was also found, a sex offender with whom, according to the police, the minors were traveling.

Police did not name the cause of the deaths.

Local authorities have not publicly identified the other four bodies, but Janette Mayo, 59, of Westville, Okla., told AP News the other victims were her daughter, Holly Guess, 35, and her grandchildren, Rylee Elizabeth Allen, 17, Michael James Mayo. 15, and Tiffany Dore Guess, 13.

Mayo said the sheriff’s office had notified him of the deaths. The woman told the AP that her family did not know the criminal history of McFadden, who married her daughter in 2022.

“He lied to my daughter and convinced her that it was all a big mistake,” she said.

On Monday the Oklahoma Highway Patrol issued an endangered missing persons notice for Ivy Webster and Brittany Brewer.

It was reported that they were friends with Holly Guess and had spent the weekend with her family.

Authorities executed a search warrant at McFadden’s home after he failed to appear in court on Monday where he was to stand trial for allegedly trying to have a relationship with a minor in 2017 and possession of child pornography.

Okmulgee County Sheriff Eddy Rice said he believed Ivy and Brittany were among the dead people found, though he state forensic tone to confirm their identities.

“Our hearts go out to their families and their friends, their classmates and everyone else,” Rice said.

Brittany’s father, Nathan Brewer, told a local outlet that he was in shock.

“I’m lost. I’m really lost. The end of school is coming up, and she won’t be there. I mean she’s gone,” he said.

“Brittany was an outgoing person. In fact, she was selected to be Miss Henryetta… And now she won’t make it because she’s dead.”

At a vigil held Monday night, Brewer told the crowd that “it’s a parent’s worst nightmare.”

The Henryetta Township Public Schools posted a message on Facebook saying that they were mourning the loss of several of their students.

They canceled Monday’s planned graduation for kindergarten students until further notice, saying they would provide students with grief counseling and access to mental health professionals.
