There are no direct flights to Coimbatore Airport from countries where the new type of corona virus has spread. However, it has been decided to come to airports like Chennai and Bangalore from the infected countries and monitor the airport arrivals from there.

Special inspection teams are involved in this. Mandatory corona screening at the airport is for people from 12 countries, including South Africa, China, New Zealand, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Singapore and Israel, which have been identified as high-risk countries.

And they are forced to be isolated in homes for 7 days. Corona examination will be performed again on the 8th day. Monitoring officers have also been appointed for this purpose. In addition, 99 foreigners who have been vaccinated twice do not need to be tested. They are only tested for body temperature. Corona testing will be done for those who have not been vaccinated.
