Many districts in Tamil Nadu have been lashed by heavy rains in some places.
Chennai:
The Chennai Meteorological Department has forecast showers in Tamil Nadu today and tomorrow due to warming and overcast skies.
The Met Office has forecast light to moderate rains with thundershowers in some parts of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry today due to overcast skies and warming over Lakshadweep and adjoining southeastern Arabian Sea.
In Tamil Nadu, 7 districts of Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Theni, Dindigul, Tiruppur, Tenkasi and Virudhunagar and one or two districts will receive heavy showers.
Thundershowers will develop at several places in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry tomorrow (Sunday) and at one or two places in the Western Ghats.
Similarly, the Chennai Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rains in one or two places in the inner districts of Tamil Nadu tomorrow (Monday) and on the 19th (Tuesday).
