The chief adviser of the interim government. Muhammad Yunus will attend the 79th General Session of the United Nations on September 22. Dr. on this trip to New York. Yunus will be accompanied by a delegation of 7 members. They will do this tour till September 27.

Dr. will be in the delegation of 7 members. Yunus’s daughter Dina Afroz Yunus, Chief SDG Coordinator Lamia Morshed, Chief Debapriya Bhattacharya of the Interim Government White Paper Preparation Committee, Drik Managing Director Shahidul Alam, Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Mahfuz Alam, Chief Adviser’s Private Secretary Shabbir Ahmad and private BRAC University Student Ayesha Siddiqa Tithi.
Earlier on September 1 in a briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Tauhid Hossain said that the interim government’s chief advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus will go to New York. But he will come back on a very short visit. There might be more work to be done in Washington but he would be back from New York very soon.
When asked about who the meeting will be with, the foreign adviser said, “It will have to go.” Something is being said. I can say that there will be some meetings. But I can’t say specific. Not all heads of state go in all cases. The format will be in New York. He will not go to Washington.
