The so-called born elite is still entering its peak, and already almost half of the teams have changed their coaches. From the beginning of the championship, which was in mid-July, to the beginning of October, 7 out of 16 teams in the First League have already parted with their mentors.
The last change for now came in Pazardzhik, where the local “Hebar” parted ways with Veselin Velikov. The specialist stood at the head of the team in the summer, but left after only 10 rounds. Pazardzhiklii will be temporarily led by former football player Yordan Minev. He will train the team together with the director of the club’s school, Yordan Cholov, until a new coach is appointed. The new mentor of “Hebar” will be chosen by the chairman of the Board of Directors – Valentin Vassilev.
At the beginning of the week, “Beroe” parted ways with Jose Luis Acciari. “Loko” (Sf), “Botev” (Vratsa), CSKA, “Spartak” (Varna) and “Ludogorets” also changed their mentors. The team from our maritime capital and the native hegemon even made a cast twice during the campaign. “Spartak” started the season with Alexander Tomas, who after just a few games went to fulfill his childhood dream and took over CSKA. The team was then led by Ivan Tsvetanov, who was replaced by Kyriakos Georgiou. He left and now Tsvetanov is again at the head of the people of Varna.
“Ludogorets” started with Georgi Dermendzhiev. After him, it was led by Zahari Sirakov, and now Igor Jovičević is at the helm.
