graduates completed their studies by the fifth anniversary of the ABB Tech Academy”/>
ABB Tech Academy, founded by ABB Bank in 2019 as part of its corporate social responsibility program, celebrates its fifth anniversary. The main goal of the Academy is to train highly qualified specialists in the field of information technology who meet the requirements of the country’s modern labor market.
At the initial stage, all Academy programs were free, which made the project especially important for the country’s business community. Subsequently, ABB Bank, in collaboration with partners such as the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and bp, began providing scholarships to talented students who successfully passed the entrance examination.
Over 5 years, ABB Tech Academy graduated 722 people. Currently there are 47 students studying at the Academy – 26 girls and 21 boys. Among graduates, 30% work on ABB Bank projects, and 70% are employed in local and international companies. The employment rate of graduates is more than 82%, which confirms the high demand for their knowledge and skills. In addition, the ABB Innovation Center, opened in 2020, actively supports start-ups. More than 40 projects successfully passed the incubation stage and were offered to investors for further investment.
