Commenting on the voter registration, Manipur Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Agarwal said:

“The second phase (final phase) of polling in Manipur was largely peaceful. As at 5 pm, 76.62% of the votes were cast. We expect 85% of the votes to be cast.

There was no large-scale electoral violence. 12 voting machines were damaged in the mountains. If the data is not collected in the voting machines, there are opportunities for re-registration. There have also been complaints from political parties. They will also be investigated. “
