I’m 7.767 i new cases of coronavirus in Italy (yesterday they were +10,680, here the bulletin). Salt so at least 3.686.707 the number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the outbreak began. THE deaths today I’m 421 (yesterday they were +296), for a total of 111,747 victims from February 2020. People recovered or discharged they are altogether 3.019.255 e 21.733 those that came out of the Covid nightmare today (+9.323 yesterday). The positive current – the subjects who have the virus – appear to be in everything 555.705, equal to -14.371 compared to yesterday (+1,061 the day before). There decline in current positives today – with the minus sign in front – depends on the fact that the healed, added to the deaths, are greater in number than in the new cases.
The swabs and the scenario
I total swabs (molecular and antigenic) were 112.962, or 10,167 more than yesterday when it was 102,795. While the rate of positivity 6,9% (the approximation of 6.87%): it means that out of 100 swabs performed more than 6, almost 7, were positive; yesterday it was 10.4%. Less infections in 24 hours than yesterday. Typically, the curve starts to rise from Tuesday, as in the past few weeks. This does not occur today because of a few swabs: the average of the analyzes is usually about 300,000 on Tuesdays, while today the tests are 112,000 because they are those processed on Easter Monday. A little good news comes from the case / test ratio which drops to 6.9%, from 10.4% the day before. The trend towards a stationary situation has been consolidated for two weeks now – explains Giuseppe Remuzzi, of the Mario Negri Irccs pharmacological research institute during the Agor broadcast on Rai Tre – and we can say that the scenario is evolving very slowly towards an improvement. For the first time since the start of the second autumn wave there is a region with zero new cases: the Molise (with 100 swabs) which also has zero deaths. To see a region with zero new infected, you have to go back to the beginning of October and to be precise, Molise scored zero cases on 3 October. The only region with a four-digit increase in new infections on Lazio +1,120 positive. All other regions have a two- or three-digit increase.
The victims
Victims increase in 24 hours. Attention: the bulletin contains many people who have lost their lives in recent days and entered the system late. In fact, the Puglia records 70 deaths, of which 15 occurred in the last 24 hours and 55 related to the last 7 days, but uploaded to the system only today. However, they are a very heavy number that gives a sense of the drama of this pandemic, explains the councilor for Healthcare Pier Luigi Lopalco. While the Campania has 62 dead, of which 41 died in the last 48 hours and 21 in the previous days.
The health system
