7th flight with India’s relief supplies reaches Turkey, Syria

The Indian Disaster Response Team is actively carrying out rescue operations in Turkey and Syria, which are affected by the terrible earthquake, under the name of Operation Dost. India continues to send relief goods to the affected people there. A large number of items such as food items, medicines and blankets have been sent.

In this case, the 7th Indian Air Force aircraft was sent to both countries yesterday with a large number of relief items.

In this, 35 tons of goods including solar lamps and emergency medicines were sent. 23 tons of goods were delivered to the Syrian capital Damascus and 12 tons of goods were delivered to Turkey.

Central External Affairs Spokesperson Arindam Bagshi said that the country’s Deputy Minister of Local Government and Environment Moudas Dawaji received the goods sent by India in Damascus.
