Jagdalpur. Based on information about gambling as well as gambling in Kodenar police station area, the police formed different teams and raided. The police arrested eight accused and also seized cash and counterfeit goods.
City Superintendent of Police Vikas Kumar said that some gamblers were gambling recklessly by betting money in Dilmili Chalki Bhatamela, on information, action was taken by preparing different teams. The team caught 8 gamblers playing gambling at 3 different places, from whom a total of Rs 17,260 was seized on the spot and Chhattisgarh FIR was registered against the accused. A crime was registered under Section 3 of the Gambling Prohibition Act 2022 and the accused were arrested during investigation.
Among the arrested accused is Raju Kashyap (30). Niyanar Jamgudha Para, Jabbar Khan (30) Kumharpara, Riyaz Khan alias Raju (32) Kumharpara, Raju Kashyap (37) Kumharpara Bhawani Chowk, Puran Kashyap (37) Kumharpara, Nitesh Sethia (27) Hatakchora, Sambhu Das (36) Atal Awas Apart from this, Sambhu Patua (25) Housing Board has been arrested.
