The research firm says that 2022 has been a great year for Apple. Apple has a significant share of smartphone sales globally.
Eight of the top 10 best-selling smartphones worldwide are iPhone models. By 2021, iPhone 13 has become the best-selling smartphone. This is followed by iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The list includes models including iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 12, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone SE 2022. This list features two entry-level Galaxy A series smartphones from Samsung. The iPhone 13 is the best-selling smartphone of last year, according to Counterpoint Research.
Apple’s A15 Bionic chip is expected in the 2021 iPhone 13 model. The iPhone 13 model accounted for 28 percent of overall iPhone sales. Following the launch of the iPhone 14 series, the iPhone 13 model is likely to see an increase in its sales due to the price cut announced.
iPhone 13 has been the best selling smartphone in countries like China, France, Germany, USA and UK. The iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max models occupy the second and third positions respectively in this list. The 2022 Pro Max series has outpaced the Pro and base variants in sales.
Samsung’s Galaxy A13 model is the fourth best-selling smartphone in the list, followed by the iPhone 13 Pro model at the fifth position. The iPhone 12 model is ranked sixth, while the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models are ranked seventh and eighth respectively.
The iPhone SE 2022 model has taken the ninth position and the Samsung Galaxy A03 model has taken the tenth position. Apple is the first company to occupy eight of the top ten best-selling smartphone models.
