The Congress leadership has ordered the formation of an eight-member political affairs committee headed by Congress president Sonia Gandhi ahead of the 2024 parliamentary elections. Electoral strategy classifier genocide has been given a place on the working committee.
The Congress party is currently preparing for the 2024 parliamentary elections. With party leader Sonia Gandhi making various changes to this end, the Congress recently held a three-day think tank session in Jaipur, Rajasthan on behalf of the Congress party. Various resolutions were passed in consultation with the preparation for the general election.
In this regard, the Congress leadership today ordered the formation of three committees, including the Political Affairs Committee, headed by Congress President Sonia Gandhi. The Political Affairs Committee, headed by Congress president Sonia Gandhi, has eight members, including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjuna Karge and Ghulam Nabi Azad. Similarly, the 2024 Task Force includes eight members, including former Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi and election strategy classifier Sunil Kanukolu.
Also, the Bharat Jodo Yatra planning committee for Gandhi Jayanti from Kashmir to Kanyakumari includes nine members from Tamil Nadu, including Jyoti Mani, Sachin Pilot and Sachitharur. A consultative meeting of the committees is expected to be held soon at the Congress headquarters in Delhi.
