More than 99,000 Singaporean employers will receive $ 840 million worth of benefits under the payroll scheme.
They will receive this final payment by the end of this month.
Employees who pay extra to Singapore employees are paid a stipend to cover their expenses.
In the next phase, the government will contribute 15 percent of the pay rise to employees in 2021, 2020 and 2019. This amount will help to cope with the rising salary charges.
This amount is equivalent to the pay rise given by employers to more than 780,000 Singaporeans earning up to 5,000 silver.
The Ministry of Finance and the Inland Revenue Commission said that more than 99,000 employers would benefit from this.
Employers are not required to apply to qualify for this assistance program.
Letters containing details of the amount to be paid to them will be sent to them by the end of this month.
