THE MEDIATOR OF THE REPUBLIC
The credits allocated to the Mediator of the Republic for the management of 2024 amount to the sum of 850,477,000 FCFA compared to 539,849,000 FCFA in 2023, an increase of 57.54%. This increase will make it possible to cover the operating costs and equipment expenses of the regional delegations, in particular the rental costs of the buildings to house the new regional delegations (Ouémé-Plateau, Zou-Collines and Atlantique-Littoral) and the acquisition of rolling stock, to operationalize the Self-Referral Department, to carry out activities related to political dialogue. Staff expenses are estimated at 169,322,000 FCFA compared to 128,694,000 FCFA in 2023, an increase of 31.57% which will make it possible to support the salary costs induced by the establishment of regional delegations. Credits for purchases of goods and services are estimated at 677,755,000 FCFA compared to 407,755,000 FCFA in 2023, an increase of 66.22%. With this budget, the Mediator of the Republic will improve its services, including mobile hearings and the processing of appeals.
