‘Lim Young-woong, Our Miracle Hero’ is a book that records the 800 days of on-site activities that the production team of ‘Anchor’s Smart TV’, a fan tube (YouTube channel for fans of singer Lim Young-woong) spent with Lim Young-woong’s fans.
This production team interviewed numerous ‘Lim Young-woong fans’ while visiting Lim Young-woong concert sites, from the ‘Goyang Concert’ that announced the start of Lim Young-woong’s concerts in May 2022 to the ‘I’m Hero – The Stadium’ held at Seoul World Cup Stadium in 2024, and included the results in the book.
This book is full of vivid ‘testimonies’ from fans whose lives have changed thanks to Lim Young-woong. An 87-year-old fan grandmother says, “How can he make the world I live in so beautiful?” and “No matter what anyone says, Young-woong is like oxygen to me.”
A woman in her 60s who identified herself as ‘Dusim’ said, “I had been going through some personal difficulties and received psychotherapy for over two years. After listening to Lim Young-woong’s ‘Wish,’ I listened to only Lim Young-woong’s songs for a few days, and strangely enough, my closed heart opened up and I felt healed in an instant.”
There was also a confession from an ardent overseas fan. The only reason Alexa, who lives in Spain, came to study abroad in Korea was because of Lim Young-woong. “I became a fan after listening to Lim Young-woong’s ‘I Love You’ on YouTube in 2022.” It is said that his dorm room is covered with photos of Lim Young-woong.
Lim Young-woong celebrated his 8th debut anniversary on August 8th. This book vividly tells the story of how Lim Young-woong became a ‘hero’ to fans of all ages, from the young generation to middle-aged and elderly.
