Mexico City Provides Financial Support to Former Route 100 Employees
The Government of Mexico City recently delivered 381 financial supports of 24 thousand 991 pesos each to former employees of the Extinct Route 100. The awards were presented in the Hall of Mirrors at the Iztacalco Mayor’s Office.
Head of Government Martí Batres explained that a total of 6,556 grants have been awarded since December 2023, with the total amount of support reaching 163 million 845 thousand pesos. This latest delivery marks the eighth such distribution, with further payments expected in the coming days.
These supports are part of a joint fund comprised of both federal and local resources. Batres emphasized that the city government contributes one peso for every federal peso received.
The capital’s leader also acknowledged the hard work of the former Route 100 employees during their tenure. The Secretary of Government, Ricardo Ruiz, further expressed appreciation for their dedication and service to the city.
