Nine people injured in the AZAL plane crash near Aktau and undergoing hospital treatment were today discharged home for outpatient treatment in satisfactory condition.

“Treatment of the five injured in the plane crash continues at Yeni Klinika, under the jurisdiction of TƏBİB. The patient, who was treated in the intensive care unit and whose health condition was previously assessed as stable and serious, was transferred to the hospital. Currently, his health condition is assessed as moderate. The health status of others The victims, whose treatment is ongoing, are assessed as satisfactory. The treatment of each of them is under the supervision of doctors,” the message says.

Let us recall that on board the crashed Embraer 190 aircraft of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), operating flight J2-8243 Baku-Grozny, there were 62 passengers, 5 crew members, a total of 67 people. As a result of the incident, 38 people were killed and 29 were injured.

The aircraft’s “black boxes” have been discovered and procedures are being carried out to analyze them in accordance with international aviation conventions. An investigation into the causes of the disaster is currently underway. Final conclusions will be made after completion of all necessary studies and data analysis.
