903 people, including 326 children and 191 women, have died in Pakistan since June due to monsoon rains and floods, according to the country’s Climate Change Minister Sherry Rahman.

He also mentioned in the Twitter post that 1,293 people have been injured in various incidents due to heavy rains across Pakistan. The highest number of deaths due to monsoon and floods are reported in Sindh and Balochistan provinces.

One crore people lost their homes and were displaced. More than 1.5 million mud houses have been completely destroyed and thousands of people are trapped in flood-affected areas and waiting for help, he said.
