The Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed that 498 soldiers were killed. The second round of Russia-Ukraine peace talks will take place today on the Belarusian-Polish border. The Russian envoy said talks would include a ceasefire. The United Nations says more than one million people have fled Ukraine so far. Two per cent of the total population left the country.
