A former secretary by one Nazi concentration camp of 99 years was sentenced to prison for his complicity in a Nazi concentration camp.

Furchner was sentenced to two years’ suspended imprisonment on 30 September 2021 in the northern German town of Itzehoe. Prior to her trial, the presiding judge had announced that the accused had fled and that a warrant had been issued for her arrest.
“He left his nursing home this morning. He took a taxi,” Milhoffer said.
However, after fleeing, she was released pending a hearing on October 19.
