The festival Another Way Film Festivalthe Madrid documentary film festival on sustainable progress with a national presence, celebrates from this Wednesday until next October 25 its ninth edition with 43 titles distributed among documentariesmovies about fiction, short films and one miniseries of three chapters about topics such as climate change, the energy crisis, consumption in relation to the environment, social justice and activism.

Five parallel activities
As reported by the organization through a statement, five parallel activities will be held to “reconnect” with each other and with the nature. These are activities aimed at both professionals like the whole family such as visits to different parks and gardens in Madrid, a cultural mediation workshop, a gospel concert, a professional meeting, and a poetry show.
The inaugural film will be Deep Risingdirected by Matthew Rytznarrated by Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) and presented at Sundance 2023. This environmental documentary is also a exciting and current story of geopolitical, scientific and corporate intrigue.

This year the festival will have the presence of three directors such as Cyril Dion y Robert Schabus. Some of the organizations and groups that have already confirmed their attendance at these colloquiums are WWF, Extinction Rebellion, Global Witness, Complutense University of Madrid, Carlos III University y Economists without bordersamong others.
The ten films of Official Section compete for Award of the Jury for Best Film of 1,500 euros.
