The Union Finance Ministry is not closing the investigation into the gold smuggling case. The Ministry of External Affairs has not asked for the closure of the investigation. Out of Kerala

ED has approached the Supreme Court to change the case. The Ministry of External Affairs also stated that the court has been informed that the state administrative system is being misused on a large scale.
