Court: London allowed to send asylum seekers to Rwanda – UK

LONDON – A British court has upheld in principle a controversial plan by the Conservative government to deal with asylum seekers. Sending migrants who have entered Britain illegally to East African Rwanda and having them apply for asylum there is in line with the Refugee Convention, the High Court in London ruled on Monday. However, each individual case must be examined carefully.
