Thiruvananthapuram: The Christmas party called by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will be held today. Religious leaders have been invited to the event at Muscat Hotel. But Governor Arif Muhammad Khan is not invited. The Governor invited the Chief Minister and the Ministers to the Christmas party held at Raj Bhavan, but they did not attend.
While the state government’s Christmas party is held in Thiruvananthapuram, the Governor is in Kozhikode. The governor is coming to Kozhikode to attend a private event. The Governor will reach Kozhikode guest house at 10 am and will participate in the program at Kotuli Home of Love at 4 pm. The Governor will also participate in the lecture series to be held at Kolathur Advaita Ashram on 21st. The governor’s visit to Kozhikode comes amid controversy over the government’s failure to invite the governor to the Christmas party.
