Two promising shows launched their new season last night (Saturday), and competed for the victory in the ratings. “The Masked Singer” of Keshet 12 and “Survival” of Network 13 were broadcast in prime time after the news, and the opening episode of Keshet managed to overtake the season opener on the competitor channel.

The masked singer achieved 18.9% ratings (496 thousand viewers), compared to the new season of survival which achieved only 15.2%. (428 thousand viewers).

The big battle for the ratings is particularly significant in the opening episode of the season, which usually predicts the success of the programs later on. Keshet 12 did beat Network 13, but the figures for the opening episode of the season (18.9%) were lower than the figures for the previous launch, so the masked singer achieved 19.4%.

The grand final will take place today, after which the major channels will be able to breathe a sigh of relief and broadcast more expensive and promising programs , after last month the competition was impossible.
