A person who ordered a laptop from Amazon was given dog food is going viral on the internet.
It happens from time to time that the ordered item is replaced by other items on online trading sites.
In this case, Alan Wood (61) from Britain asked for his daughter on Amazon last November. On 29th Rs. He ordered a MacBook Pro laptop worth 1.20 lakhs. Paid for next day delivery.
After opening the box that the order came in, there were 2 packets of Pedigree dog food. Shocked by this, he immediately contacted Amazon’s customer service center. But the company refused to refund the laptop.
Alan Wood says he spent about 15 hours on the phone with Amazon employees and officials.
After this, in the product return facility, he returned the dog food that came with the laptop to Amazon. The company spokesperson has since apologized to Alan Wood and said that he will return the money.
