by time news

(ANSA) – ROME, APRIL 14 – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez confirmed in Parliament the objectives of the vaccination campaign against covid in the country, despite the stop to deliveries of the single-dose preparation by Johnson & Johnson. The local media reported it. The government’s goal is to immunize 70% of the population, 33 million people, by the end of August. Sánchez reiterated that this scenario is achievable thanks to the arrival of more doses in the second and third quarter of the year, but acknowledged that it is an “evolving” situation, also recalling that one cannot “let one’s guard down” because “the virus still circulates”.
